Biography
For as far back as I can remember, movies and images have been a part of my life. I became obsessed at a very young age with how a movie was made, what kind of film was it shot with, who was the director and composer and how was it all put together. Always with a camera in my hand, I took pictures and video of everything and anything that I could and then spent time analyzing the lighting and how it could be done better or more interesting. Movies were not just entertainment for me, they were so much more. I developed a true love of a good story, no matter what the medium, and if it was a good one, I needed to watch it more than once. This obsession of mine has carried me all the way through high school where I took as many photography and editing classes that were offered and it was no surprise to anyone that knew me, when it came time to decide what I wanted to do for college, film school was the answer.
Who am I now? Quite simply, I’m a creative visual artist with a strong understanding of photography and film equipment and techniques. I strive to capture and edit stunning images with a keen eye for detail and committed to telling stories through photographs and film. I am, quite simply, a storyteller…
“That’s what storytellers do. We restore order with imagination. We instill hope again and again and again.”
-Walt Disney
